Policies:

CWAA's activities are conducted in strict accordance with the American and Russian Federation laws and regulations in the area of adoptions and pursuant to the provisions of the applicable international conventions. CWAA will accept any applicant - married couples and single women, regardless of their race or religious beliefs, as long as they fulfill the following criteria:

1. They are between 25-60 years of age.
2. They are morally sound.
3. They do not have a criminal record or history of child abuse.
4. Their health status does not interfere with raising a child.
5. They have sufficient financial resources to raise a child.

Length of marriage, previous divorces and the existence of biological children is not a bar to adoption.

The relationship between the agency and the accepted applicant(s) is regulated through a written agreement setting forth the rights and obligations of the parties, services, terms, cost of adoption and refund policies.
